Amputee on Call really started in 1977 when I lost the lower half of my left leg. For years I was an advocate and did not know or understand what advocacy was all about. Through the years I have been in contact with person with all types of disabilities. Everyone has a story or experience and through their knowledge, I have learned much. Many times our questions are simple, it is the answers that can be very hard.
When you have hit the wall, give us a call, we can help, we have hundreds of people and thousands of resources for just about any need you can imagine. What we do is a labor of love. It is Free, and we never share your personal information. In fact, we do not even keep a data base of names. We don't need a pat on the back or a data base to prove what we do, we just do it.
